Cv Technology Inc. is a Florida based corporation devoted to the prevention, protection, and mitigation of industrial dust explosions and related fires.


We protect lives and preserve profits by preventing dust explosions or fires whenever possible and to mitigate the damage when an incident occurs.

We accomplish this with our Tripod Approach.


Step 1. Risk Analysis. Objectives for the study are developed. Dusts are tested and processes evaluated to determine where there is risk for fire or explosion. Likely consequences are projected. A report with recommendations and alternatives is created.



Step 2. Once the Risk Analysis has identified the elements of the system that need to be addressed, and the consequences have been appreciated, the alternatives for protection need to be fully explored. Our strong bias is for passive systems, these are generally the least expensive and most reliable. Taking into account the process systems, critical operations, production scheduling requirements etc, priorities can be set, installation costs determined, and a schedule developed for implementation.



Step 3. The best solutions are only effective if accompanied by a well orchestrated implementation process. Detailed drawings and manuals are the first step. Meeting installers to go over blueprints, walk the plant and inspect work are all important parts of every successful installation. All systems must be checked and tested for proper function once installation is complete. Finally, plant personnel must be adequately trained.
